# Edge Local Development

Use the tracked `configs/edge.yaml` as the provider-only example and inject local endpoints or credentials through an untracked environment-specific configuration.

## Quick verification

```bash
go run ./apps/edge/cmd/edge config check --config configs/edge.yaml
go test -count=1 ./apps/edge/...
make test-control-plane-edge-wire
make test-e2e
```

Node registration becomes dispatch-ready only after the current connection applies its provider config and completes the ready handshake. Control Plane operations are limited to health checks, Node status, and the closed provider-command set.
